Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the We HQ mobile application and the website at we-hq.com (together, the "Service"), operated by We HQ ("We HQ", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service, and at least the age of majority where you live to purchase a subscription. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. The Service

We HQ is the headquarters for a movement. The Service lets you access content and take part as a visitor, member, or supporter. Supporting the mission through a subscription helps fund the work and keep it within reach of others; it is patronage that sustains the movement rather than the purchase of otherwise-restricted features. We may add to, change, or remove parts of the Service at any time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Subscriptions are offered as auto-renewing in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through our provider, RevenueCat. When you subscribe:

• payment is charged to your Apple or Google account upon confirmation of purchase;
• your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
• you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings — canceling stops future renewals, and the current period continues until it ends;
• prices may change, and where required we will give you notice; changes apply to future billing periods; and
• refunds are handled by the app store through which you purchased, in accordance with its policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• copy, distribute, sell, or publicly perform content from the Service except as expressly permitted;
• reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• upload or transmit malware, or harass, abuse, or harm others; or
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or infringe the rights of others.

6. Your content

If the Service lets you submit content, you keep your rights in it and grant We HQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it.

7. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, features, and branding are owned by We HQ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. App stores

You obtained the application through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your use is also subject to their terms. These Terms are between you and We HQ only — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or its content, and they are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, We HQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold We HQ harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
