Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
We HQ ("We HQ", "we", "us", or "our") operates the We HQ mobile application and the website at we-hq.com (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication credentials, along with any profile details you choose to provide (such as a display name).
- Subscription and purchase information. If you support the mission through a subscription, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through our payments provider, RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status, tier, and transaction identifiers. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Usage and content-interaction data. We collect information about how you use the Service, such as the content you view, the features you use, and the actions you take.
- Device and technical data. We automatically collect device and connection information such as device model, operating system, app version, language, general location inferred from your IP address, and diagnostic and crash data that help us keep the Service reliable.
- Communications and notifications. If you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence. If you enable push notifications, we process a device push token in order to deliver them.
This website. The we-hq.com marketing site does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request details) for security and reliability.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- process and confirm subscriptions and manage your supporter status;
- send service-related messages and, where you have opted in, push notifications;
- respond to your questions and provide support;
- monitor, diagnose, and fix problems, and protect the security and integrity of the Service; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers. We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, including the Apple App Store and Google Play (app distribution and billing), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication, hosting, and crash diagnostics), a content-delivery provider (to stream content), and an email provider (to send messages). These providers may process your information only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or We HQ.
- Business transfers. If We HQ is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — including deletion of your account — by contacting us at privacy@we-hq.com or by using the account controls in the app.
- Push notifications. You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings.
- Subscriptions. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have additional rights, such as the right to object to or restrict certain processing or to lodge a complaint with a regulator. We honor these rights as required by applicable law; contact us to exercise them.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
8. International users
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection when it is transferred.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
10. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your information, contact us at privacy@we-hq.com.
